Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth believe that they need to wash away their bad deeds. How do their views differ when it comes to this?

When Macbeth goes to Lady Macbeth with blood on his hands he talks about how not even the sea could wash away the blood, even the ocean would turn red. His use of language suggested that he felt so awful about the deed he did (killing duncan) that the sin could never be cleansed. During this same scene, his wife is concentrated on getting the actual blood off of his hands so that he doesn't get caught for the murder, she is being strategical and thinking ahead rather than getting caught up in the moment. The scene does make it clear that they both feel remorse and wish to wash away the deed Macbeth has done, but Macbeth shows more guilt than Lady Macbeth does.
