I think that is wrong. The only second place is "Beighton Fields" which
seems to be a tiny place further south, in the parish of Barlborough,
also in Derbyshire, and is not the same as the parish and village of
Beighton.

The Registrar General, who ran the census, used the concept of
"registration counties", which did not necessarily have the same
boundaries as the counties used for other administrative purposes. From
1837 to 1895 (according to GENUKI) Beighton was in Rotherham
registration district, so would be in the "registration county" of
Yorkshire. In 1895 it was moved to Chesterfield RD in the registration
county of Derbyshire. Is part of the ambiguity that you find it listed
with Yorkshire in 1841-1891 census, and Derbyshire in 1901 and 1911?
