A) Using your partner's podcast script, respond to all of the
following questions.

B) If your partner tells you that you need to make a change, do it in
class today

1. Is your partner’s introduction/background at least 200 words?

2. Not including the 200 word introduction/background, does your
partner have an Opening, Content, and Closing section of his/
her
script?

3. Does your partner introduce him/herself?

4. Is your partner’s topic sentence bolded? It should be.

5. Does your partner have at least three new sources that s/he
hasn’t
used previously in his/her Webtext? You need to check the
Webtext.

6. Does your partner give oral attribution to his/her sources?

7. Does your partner have two “for more informations” in his/her
closing?

8. Does one “for more information” represent the problem and the
other
the solution?

9. Does your partner thank his/her audience for listening?

10. Tell your partner what he or she needs to do, and then let me
know what you told your partner. Literally
post and tell me that your partner knows what s/he needs to
do.

1. Yes, my partner's intrroduction is at least 200 words in length.
2. There is content but there is no clear opening, content, and
closing.
3. Yes he introduces himself.
4. No, it is not bolded.
5. Yes he has new sources that he has not previously used.
6. No he does not give oral attribution to his sources.
7. Yes he does have two "for more information" sources.
8. I am not sure if his two readings address the solution and problem.
9. Yes he does thank the audience in the end.
10. The first thing that I told my partner was to check the
requirements list. Then I told him that he nneds to make sure that he
has a clear opening, content, and closing. I also told Terrel that he
needs to make sure to give oral attribution to his sources.
Furthermore, I told him that he needs to make sure his "for more
information" sources address the problem and the solution. This is
everything I told him to do.

1. Yes.
2. No.
3. No.
4. No.
5. From the in-text citation it does look like that new sources are
being used but no reference list has been posted.
6. No.
7. No.
8. No.
9. No.
10. It is apparent that the script I reviewed was not the completed
rough draft so many of the requirements have not been met. I would
definitely suggest however that my partner look at the phase two
project requirements and the example by Rebecca so that she can see
how to attribute verbally in her podcast. However the deadline for
this assignment is Midnight where I have done this review in the early
evening; living time for a completed rough draft to be posted.

words.
2. Yes, there is a clear opening, content and conclusion.
3. Yes, he introduces himself.
4. Yes, the topic sentence is bolded.
5. Sources/references will be added at a later time.
6. Yes, he gives oral attribution to his sources.
7. Referral readings will be added at another time.
8. Referral readings will be added at another time.
9. The audience is not thanked for listening.
10. Jorge,
I enjoyed reading your podcast script and it was very informational to
me. The few things that need to be added you’ve already told me about.
I think the only other thing is to thank your audience at the end.
Thanks, Sarah

1. No, my partner’s introduction is not at least 200 words in length.
2. Her script seems to have an opening, content and closing, but the
elements are not clear since she did not separate her writing into
sections.
3. Yes, she does introduce herself.
4. No, her topic sentence is not bolded.
5. No, she only has two sources as of right now.
6. I am not sure, but I do think that she does in fact offer oral
attribution to her sources.
7. My partner has two sources but it is not clear if they are
references or ‘for more information’ readings.
8. There are not links, so I cannot verify if the sources provided
address the problem/solution.
9. No, she does not thank the audience for listening.
10. Brandy, I recommend that you look at the requirements list for
this project. I also recommend you separate/divide your writing into
sections so that it’s easier to see the opening, content, and closing.
Besides this, I recommend that you add a thank you section to thank
your audience for listening. Furthermore, make sure you have to ‘for
more information’ sources—one should address the problem and the other
the solution. Besides those two you should have 3-4 references.
