Can you circulate this around the relevant Claverton groups as I don't

There is an article in the Jan 2011 Cogeneration and On Site power
about the GE Jenbacher Gas Engine of 9.5 MW. Efficiency is 48.7%.
Start up time is 5 minutes. Claimed CHP efficiency is 90%, said to be
higher than the usual 88% for such machines.
The engines can operate syngas , so presumably they could use producer
gas made from biomass
Such engines would be ideal for Denmark which is breaking the the
country into a series of relatively small networks which are
semi-autonomous. Presumably this is a long term aim in which engines
such as this can utilise the CHP heating network and also provide back
up to wind.
