Google Acquires Picnik – Online Photo Editor

The official Google blog and Picnik blog announced that Google has acquired Picnik. Picnik is a free online photo editor which allows to edit photos in the cloud and share with your friends and family.

The internet giant announced that Google will be integrating picnik and picasa service to edit photos online for Google users. Picnik is happy to announce that they came under a big giant roof, so they are now visible to more users.

Picnik users still can continue without any changes and picnik announced that there will be no change right now. So the support will be continued for the users.

Note : Google is acquiring minimum a company every week and Picnik is default photo editor in flickr which is owned by Yahoo.
