Hi -

I am an Associate Teaching Professor at UMass Lowell. My preferred email is

Wonderful job on the text. The interactives are awesome!

I am planning on working my way through both the text and the problem sets and I was wondering what is the preferred method for submitting comments and corrections?

For instance, I have noticed that the solutions to the exercises do not always check the entered value of the angle. Points are deducted if the units of "deg" are not provided but the system doesn't indicated if the numerical value has been entered incorrectly.

All the best,

Dan

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your interest in the statics textbook.

I’m interested in hearing your comments and about any errors you find, small or large. Just email me with the issue or suggested correction, but make sure you give me enough surrounding text that I can find it by searching the text.  Page numbers are just about worthless, but the section numbers are ok.

Exercises are supposed to give partial credit for the right value but “wrong or missing units.“ If you find one that’s not doing that, that’s a bug, so let me know the problem number and I will look into it.
