I managed to get the bluetooth library and the code samples made
available by Stefano Sanna at android-bluetooth.googlecode.com! The
samples exemplify enabling the bluetooth service, looking up local
device information, using bluetooth discovery, and using the bluetooth
RFCOMM port.
Initially, I had included the bluetooth API as a library. This
posed many problems since the system had trouble finding and referring
to classes and methods that were supposedly available via the library.
Fortunately, the guys at android-bluetooth made their source code
available and I was just able to include them as separate packages and
classes.
Now we can use these API's to initiate our project-specific tests!
