Teaching Needs More Exercises

Having given the presentation of “production” in Professor Wu’s
class, I felt quite frustrated. However, Mr. Wu encouraged me that,
although there were some halts during my presentation, my words were
very clear and my voice was loud enough for the students understanding
easily. In order to do it better, I took Mr. Wu’s advice to give the
same presentation in Micro-teaching. I improved a lot, for example, I
modified the PowerPoint which matched the video better. Also, I show
the video efficiently (stopped at crucial parts). However, I’m still
unsatisfied with my presentation. I forgot many points which I
prepared before the class. So I find that more exercises are needed if
I want to be a good teacher and teach the students flexibly on the
platform. All in all, experience is the best policy.
