Survey on mapping interventions with men & boys

MITRA (Men’s Initiatives for Transforming Relationships through Action) is carrying out a study ‘What Impact do Interventions with Men and Boys have on the prevention of Gender-Based Violence,’ which will be a synthesis of experiences and evidence from organisations in India that are working with men and/or boys on issues of gender justice.
The study will identify such interventions that have been effective in preventing GBV and the data and learning systems that have been used. It will examine some key elements of the intervention such as evidence of ‘change’ within women’s position and status, men’s actions and their understanding of themselves, their relationships with women and children in the home and outside, whether the intervention is anchored in feminist principles and if it has policy relevance or potential for scaling.
Currently a mapping of the field is going on with the project aiming to look for organisations in the country that have implemented such interventions with men and/or boys as part of their work. Since you are working with men and/or boys on gender we request you to kindly fill the online survey form below (please select your language) by Dec 12, 2020. Study participants will be part of a continuing learning cohort in which the findings will be shared and discussions taking place.
