What did you do?
Chose to speak about American Consumption, greed and the waste of
money? Bacevich and Timon agree. Flavius was correct, honest and
warned Timon of his waste and spending habits. Money from war could
be spent here at home.
Why did you do what you did?
To educate Americans about the importance of educating our children,
the outcome of wars and why it may be necessary sometimes. Also,
America has always been known as a Superpower, and we should be a
leader by example, not by extravagance or arrogance.
What did you learn?
How spoiled Americans are, how wasteful with money. The cost of war,
not only with lives but with what the war is costing in the billions,
our National debt is about $12 trillion. And that President has a
methodical plan and works with his war cabinet and considers all
options and listens to his people, does not dictate like President
Bush did.
What else could be done?
Timon was incorrect, about spending money foolishly, careless and was
taken advantage of. Bacevich, is right to expose the waste of
American spending habits.
We have to start with educating ourselves, our children. Consider all
options, consider our country and the other countries as well.
