Is there an option to generate FMUs from Energy Plus which are compatible with FMI 2.0?

Hi Team,

I am working with a HIL software that is compatible with only FMI 2.0 and not FMI 1.0.

I also read from the FMI Standards website (Section 3.1) that FMI 2.0 is not backwards compatible with FMI 1.0 (please see attachment).

Looking at the documentation of the Energy Plus to FMU Library, I saw that the software package allows creating FMUs which are compliant with the FMI Standard Version 1.0.

Hence, I wanted to check if there is any option to generate an FMU from EnergyPlus which is compliant with FMI 2.0?

Any help or direction in this regard will be great.

We are currently working on adding support for FMI 2.0

A new version will be released very soon. We are in the final stages of testing.
