Dear all,

I recently downloaded the new v3.0.0 of EnergyPlusToFMU to get up to date and started off by importing the _fmu_export_schedule example into Dymola and trying to run a co-simulation 2.0.

It partially starts to run and then pauses at this point (Image 1). I noticed that dymosim is looking at EnergyPlus 8.8.0. However I created the FMU using EnergyPlus 9.4 (image 2) as I saw EnergyPlusToFMU 3.0.0 is for EP 9.3 and higher. I am reluctant to immediately delete EnergyPlus 8.8 right now as I have some other projects using that version and I am unsure what it would do to them.

Does anyone know if there is a way to choose in Dymola which version of EnergyPlus to use for co-simulation?

Many thanks,
Anneka

Dymola will pick the version of EnergyPlus that it will first find on the system PATH.
You may want to remove the 8.8 version from the path if it is there and add the 9.3 version.
To check the version that Dymola will use,
- open a cmd window,
- and type energyplus -v
The version that will show up will be the one used by Dymola.
