Can anyone point me to descriptions of data in espiderived? (The NAESB site is down due to the government shutdown, so wondering if this data is available elsewhere)

Thanks,

Linda

Linda,

espiDerived.xsd is available upon request and is sent to those requesting it through separate email. All should note that there was an update to the epiDerived.xsd file to include the definitions related to OAuth2 and the ESPI defined Authorization entity.

Linda,

I just checked the NAESB (www.naesb.org) is not affected by the government shutdown.

The site contains an order form (http://www.naesb.org/pdf/ordrform.pdf) that can be used to purchase the ESPI specification, which describes most of the original fields.  However, as John’s response indicates, there are additional fields that have been added to the ESPI.XSD that are not covered in the current NAESB documentation.

When ordering the material, specify “REQ.21-ESPI” as the booklet you are ordering in the last entry on the form -- “Individual REQ and RGQ Model Business Practices Booklet (E-Mail Only)”

Best regards,

Don

Yes, looks like NAESB site is up now.  (Last week they had a web page up that said they were not available due to shutdown when I tried to get to the espi.derived link.)

The espi.xsd refers to sections of the "Format spec".  Is this format spec contained in the pdf that you are recommending that I order?

Linda,

Yes, I believe the spec you are referring to is the NAESB REQ.21 standard document. This can be acquired by following the instructions on the NAESB ESPI page -- http://www.naesb.org/espi_standards.asp.

The espiderived.xsd can be retrieved from GitHub at https://github.com/energyos/OpenESPI-DataCustodian-java/tree/master/etc. This is not a government site so it is unaffected by shutdown.

HTH,

Marty
