Hello,

I am writing you because we are looking for a new home for our demonstration solar water heating equipment. Our Energy Resource Center at CCSE is closing so we no longer have exhibit space to display such items. This piece of equipment is a unique solar water heating installer training tool – a drainback system that actually drains back from the collector. There are clear flex tubes to and from the collector that show the action of the air and water as the pump starts up and immediately after the pump shuts down. This is a valuable tool for training installers regarding the importance of adequate drainback gradient in the collector supply and return lines. Both the collector and the tubing can be adjusted to make the collector fail to drain or show its proper functioning.

We would like to donate this system to a program that focuses on solar thermal training. Please let me know if you are interested and we can make arrangements for delivery.
