Our new website is ready. You can go on this link and check it. www.etvision2035.in
We have already moved it to our domain name. Now we need to put all the content on it, proof read the content which is already there and then launch it. We have to do this as early as possible because on Monday we have a presentation in front of TIFAC committee to present the updates and I feel we should atleast launch this website before. I'll take hardly 2 hours if all of us are there. We will update the content. I'll give the demo on how to do it. We will join all the 21 groups and start at least 1 discussion on it so that if someone comes to the site it should not look empty. We will also post our visions on the site. After that we will be able to call the colleges for poster dispatching.
As you all know, we are already behind schedule. We should do this as soon as possible. Please suggest some time so that we can meet and do the job.I suggest Saturday afternoon. Should be ok with everyone. After this we can focus on writing the report.

Sweet website!!! Agreed that we should start posting asap....just one issue- the website is quite slow really and hence it would be a problem since a lot of people have very slow net connections and they will be deeply put off due to this. IS it not possible to compromise a bit on the aesthetics to make it a fast website that is more suitable for posting things and browsing quickly?? Please do give this a thought.

Secondly, once you go to any of the domains say optimization then there i s no link on the page to return to the home page, you need to click the back button only, so that is a flaw from navigation ease point of view.

about the button to the main page: We have to make a button. It was getting very tedious lat to make for 21 websites so we didn't do it. I know how to do it and saurabh has also made a video for doing it. so when we we meet we will add a button for navigation to the main page.
About the website being slow: I think for now we should get started. I have asked saurabh to look into it and make it faster.

we can host the website on Amazon cloud to make it inherently fast! there are some student offers, we may get it free for 1 yr.. do google!

@rushil- Most people are available on saturday so we will keep it that way.
Guys lets meet on saturday at 1 pm in Urja Lab.
Work to be completed on saturday.
- Firstly we have to update the content on the website. For most websites it is done but for some we have to do it. Additionally we have to give hyperlinks which are not there right now.
- Next thing is we have to create an icon on each website to get back to main page which is missing. This is easy and we can do it then. Due to time constraints it could not be completed by the designer.
- After that we will all join all the 21 groups and start a discussion there so that people have something to look forward to. We will also post our own visions on each group.
- After doing this we should be ready to launch our website. We all will share it on facebook and ask all our friends wing-mates and batch-mates to like and share it. I'll also the CRs of each batch to specifically ask all the energy people to visit the site. We will also put up posters inside the campus.
Rest of the publicity plan we can discuss when we meet.
Until now I have cove confirmation from Jay, Ishaan, adwit, neeraj, and vishnu that they will be coming.
Others @ priyanka, sisir, parth, tarun and vikas - please confirm.
@parth- You can ask you friends and sophies also if anyone of them wants to join.
