Dear Prof. Hohmeyer

Thank you for sending a copy of the latest 450-page SRU report
(I note it is also available for download from
<http://www.umweltrat.de/EN/TheGermanAdvisoryCouncilOnTheEnvironment/thegermanadvisorycouncilontheenvironment_node.html>),

which has already led to some interesting discussions in the Claverton
Energy discussion group at <http://www.claverton-energy.com/>.
Here is a link to the actual discussion:

At the fascinating 4th Revolution event at Portcullis House on 3
November the possibility was discussed of trying to encourage the BBC to
show the 4th Revolution film
(<http://www.energyautonomy.org/index.php?article_id=21&clang=1>) on
television. I sincerely hope that this can be achieved, not least in
view of ongoing less than satisfactory coverage of energy matters by the
BBC. A good example is the recent BBC Panorama programme which suggested
that investment in green energy is pushing up the cost of energy bills
in the UK. A response (in the form of a YouTube video) from Tony
Juniper, former Executive Director of Friends of the Earth and now Chair
of Action for Renewables, is available for viewing here:

Kind regards
