Research on NILM Dataset Labeling: Call for study participants

Dear NILM researchers,

We are currently undergoing a research study with the goal of gaining a wider understanding regarding the possibility of crowdsourcing the labeling of NILM datasets. To this end, we would like to compare the labels that would be created by NILM researchers, with those created by anonymous crowd workers.

As such, we are currently looking for NILM researchers to participate in this study. Participants will be asked to provide labels for six appliances using an online labeling system.

We have performed this task ourselves, and the whole process took less than 1 hour. But, in order to keep if flexible for the participants, the study will last for a minimum of 7 days. This way, participants can provide the requested labels whenever they have free time.

If you would like to participate, please fill the google form in the link below. Please keep in mind that your identity will be only known by the research team, and will not be made publicly available at any time. Once we have your details, a user account will be created in the online platform, and a follow-up email with all the study details will be sent. We are planning to start the study in the second week of September.
