A Homemade Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) (PDF copy attached)
Attached is a summary of a Homemade Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV)
project, which I prepared as a Word document.
This is an excerpt from the book:
ENERGY CONSERVATION IN HOUSING
A Collection of Data on
Energy-Efficient Housing Approaches by: David L. Meinert
The printed version of the book was published by Vantage Press New York / Los Angeles in 1990 and re-printed in 1992. As of 1996, the book was out of print. This electronic version was re-edited in 2003. I revised this (attached) document in 2008.

NOTE: This Google “blog” did NOT put any of the drawings / graphics necessary to
understand a lot of the information. However, I have the complete Word document of the text and graphics attached.
(See the Word document attachment for the 960 K copy, which summarizes my Homemade Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) project.
Also on this site is information about a 160 page book (Energy Conservation in Housing), available in PDF format.
The book was originally published in 1990 and 1992.
I revised the electronic format of the book in 2003, which is attached to one of the topics.
See the topic, “Energy Conservation in Housing (see the attached PDF copy of the book).” The PDF copy of the book is attached to this topic
The original paper version of the book has been out of print since 1996.
I also have the complete (PDF) documents of the text and graphics
on a Yahoo web-site.
The Yahoo site includes some photos of an attic and basement insulation project. Use this link to connect to it.
