The book was originally published in 1990 and 1992.

I revised the electronic format of the book in 2003.
The original paper version of the book has been out of print since 1996.

This book demonstrates in layman’s terms the principles of energy- efficient

housing so that you can get the most for your energy dollar
by designing and constructing a house using these principles or
modifying your current home.
