I did some research on how to remove logo which removes the Vimeo logo on the bottom right corner. But I want to remove the user logo and author from embedded vimeo video. Is this possible? If yes how can I do that?
Yes this is possible. However, it depends on the video's settings. If you are the video owner, you can control these attributes in the Embed Section of the Settings page in the Your Details section. As you can see, you have the option to keep these on or turn them off for all embeds. However, if you turn on the Let Users Decide then by default the elements are on but can then be turned off by a user either using the URLs params or embed options of byline, title and portrait, as described in this help article.
When you create a live broadcast or webinar and select Stream with your browser from the setup page, you will be brought to our web-based production tool page where you can add all the production elements for your event from your browser.
Unlike other production elements, the logo does not get added to individual scenes. If you do not want it displayed during your stream at any point, disable the Show logo on all scenes toggle switch in the Brand panel. You can re-enable it at any point during your event to show your logo.
I have multiple videos on the website, all hosted by Vimeo as what I know Squarespace doesn't allow you to upload videos directly to the website? Is there a way to remove the Vimeo opening navigator links as well as the end frame 'more from vimeo' ?? So it would look like the video is actually hosted on the website?
Thank you @paul2009 . background videos are lil limited with 60sec no audio atm. Hopefully soon! And sweet, have checked the vimeo customising settings how to embed, think that will solve the issue for now! Thanks
The episodes are hosted on Vimeo and embedded on the web pages, which you get access to once paid. However when hitting the casting button, I can select the Chromecast and Vimeo logo appears on the TV's screen, but it immediately crashes before playing the video and Chromecast returns to it's home screen.
Paul Irish did a nice thing. He created a lighter Youtube embed. His solution does no longer slow your website down, like normal Youtube embeds do. There is only one downside: it loads content from Youtube without consent, while Youtube is a service from a company that is known for tracking and profiling. This is not very privacy friendly. The solution is to host the poster yourself and link it to Youtube. This can be done using a shortcode. This can also be done for Vimeo.
The shortcode creates an image and a link to Vimeo. The classes on this link tell the CSS to add the Vimeo logo and add a play button. This makes it look like an embed. Note that when you load the lightbox from this website, your video will automatically open in a lightbox instead of in a new page. Below you find a demo (with the lightbox enabled).
