A little bit of progress on our 'denuded' Pencil Park.

The councillors are keen to establish a "Friends" group and will submit funding applications for us and press the director of parks for support.

Bit dismaying that the articles encourage all sorts of participation except rolling up our sleeves, getting out the tools, or building stuff!  But we can still do that, I guess.

It would be great if we could get some other neighbours involved so please pass this on. 

Maybe a street party in Pencil Park when it's warmer?
