new post on the blog. I'm fielding a few questions about various
elements of the course - if possible (unless for some reason they are
secret!), future questions should be posted as a response to this
post, so that other members can see both the question and my response
by viewing this thread.

Hey Andy,
in the rules it says you have contact information for canoe rental,
what is it?

Also, I've noticed that UTM plotting tools have different scales, can
you recommend a scale that would work best for the race?

Max - you could talk to dexter about using his canoe.

the UTM scale is 1:24000 for this race.  we'll provide a basic plotting tool for teams that don't have one.  practice ahead of time might be nice though.  you can get templates online and print them on transparency paper, that's all i did for the one's i'll be giving out.
