Capitol Hill Running Club Friends,

The Cherry Blossom is always quite a scene! If you haven’t had the chance to experience it yet, come join us for our weekday runs this week. And congratulations to those who raced this weekend—we definitely noticed! 😊

We also have a few new runners, so before getting to this week’s runs, we thought it would be helpful to share a few quick logistical reminders.

Keep showing up. We hope to see you out there!

Logistics:

·    Starting times & locations for our off-season runs:

·    Tuesdays and Thursdays we will meet at 6:30 am at the US Capitol/Southwest corner of the Capitol Reflecting Pool.

·       Saturdays we will meet at 7:30 am. Most of the runs will start from the Marine Corps War Memorial/Arlington  Most runs will start from the Marine Corps War Memorial in Arlington to take advantage of varied routes and nearby bathroom/water facilities. Some runs may start from the Capitol, and we will also try to revive the old club tradition of beginning at least one off‑season run from a different location—just to mix things up and keep it interesting. Stay tuned!

·    We welcome feedback on ways to make the club more interactive. If you have ideas, please email us! We’d also love to hear about your favorite routes, races you’d recommend, what keeps you motivated, and your funny (or not‑so‑funny) running stories. And if you are training for a specific race and would like to find a running buddy, we are happy to help connect you.
