Capitol Hill Running Club friends:

Welcome to the 2025 CHRC running season for the Annual Marine Corps Marathon! Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Expo on May 16. It was a great turnout and we hope to see you all throughout the season. 

Calvin and I are excited to kick things off this week on Tuesday, June 3, at 6:30 a.m. at the SW corner of the Capitol reflecting pool. The weather is predicted to be perfect for getting active and joining new friends! 

This week's runs are:

Tuesday, June 3 (6:30 AM from US Capitol/southwest corner of Capitol Reflecting Pool) WWII Memorial (From Grant Statue to WWII Memorial and back) 3 mi.

Thursday, June 5 (6:30 AM from US Capitol/southwest corner of Capitol Reflecting Pool) House of the Commandants Run (From Grant Statue to Penn Ave to 8th and I, around the Commandant's House, and return via Penn Ave) 3 mi.

Saturday, June 7 (7:00 AM from Iwo Jima Memorial) Gravelly Point Run (From Iwo Jima Memorial to Gravelly Point and back) 6 mi.

  • Annual Marine Corps Marathon - October 26, 2025

Good Afternoon all and Happy Friday!

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow’s run will begin at 7:00 AM, a shift from our usual 7:30 AM start time. With the rising temperatures, we’re moving things up to beat the heat!

Be sure to hydrate, and we’ll see you out there bright and early.
