Happy Monday Capitol Hill Running Club friends:

Thanks to everyone who joined us last week for our first week of the season (Saturday morning’s photo is attached)! Quick reminder as things have already begun to heat up this summer, Saturday morning runs have moved to 0630!

The forecast this week looks a bit rainy but storms are not yet forecasted during any planned training times so we’ll see everyone on Tuesday, June 9, at 6:30 a.m. at the SW corner of the Capitol reflecting pool.

This week's runs are:

Tuesday, June 9 (6:30 AM from US Capitol/southwest corner of Capitol Reflecting Pool) Lincoln Park (From Grant Statue to Lincoln Park and back via East Capitol St.) 3 mi.

Thursday, June 11 (6:30 AM from US Capitol/southwest corner of Capitol Reflecting Pool) Lincoln Memorial (From Grant Statue to Lincoln Memorial and back via National Mall) 4 mi.

Saturday, June 13 (6:30 AM from Iwo Jima Memorial) Capitol Crescent Trail (From Iwo across Memorial Bridge to CCT and back) 8 mi.
