CHRC Team - Cherry Blossom 10Miler:

Thank you for your patience as I gathered further details about the Cherry Blossom Run. We have an opportunity to run as a team. However, here's the catch. To participate, we need to designate a Team Leader who has secured a bib and is willing to register the team. Additionally, all team members must have already secured their bibs as well to participate; without a bib, you will not be able to join as there is no option to register new runners. As a reminder, there was a lottery and participants were notified if they were accepted via email earlier this year. If there are CHRC club members who have secured bibs and would like to move forward, please let me know asap so I can help coordinate us.

For those who do not have a bib and would love to run the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler next year, you can serve as a volunteer this year and automatically become eligible to secure a bib for next year. To learn more, please click here.

All,

Our CHRC Cherry Blossom Team Lead will be Bianca Markovich, who has graciously registered our team (THANK YOU!). We encourage you to join the team asap as the deadline is February 28th. The team's name is Capitol Hill Running Club (CHRC) and the link to join is here. Once you join, and should you share on your social media platforms, don't forget to tag us! As a reminder, you must already have a bib to participate. If you do not have a Cherry Blossom bib, you will not be able to participate this year.

For those who want to potentially run the 2026 Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run, consider volunteering on race weekend to earn a Guaranteed Entry. The organizers are seeking volunteers for Friday and Saturday to support the Expo or check-in bags on Saturday/Sunday ahead of each race. If this is of interest, you may sign up for a volunteer shift here and use the code: RUNCLUB. Once you register to volunteer, please forward your confirmation to ni...@cherryblossom.org to obtain a link to register for the 2026 run.

I'm cc'ing Bianca for awareness, though please try to direct your questions my way to avoid spamming her inbox.

Thank you,

Isabel
