CHRC Annual Expo
Our marathon training season is just around the corner—and as tradition has it, we’re kicking things off with the CHRC Annual Expo!
· When: Thursday, May 21, 2026 | 12:00–1:00 PM

Where: Cannon House Office Building
27 Independence Ave. SE, Room 360 (3rd floor)
Come join us to learn more about the club, meet fellow runners, and hear what’s ahead for our upcoming marathon training season. Catered lunch will be provided!

· Tuesday, May 12 (6:30 AM from US Capitol/southwest corner of Capitol Reflecting Pool)
Tidal Basin Run, 4.2 miles
Route: South side of Mall, L - 15th St, after crossing Independence Ave follow E Basin Dr around Jefferson Memorial, R – Ohio Dr, R – Independence Ave after passing MLK Memorial, cross Independence Ave, return via south side of Mall.
· Thursday, May 14 (6:30 AM from US Capitol/southwest corner of Capitol Reflecting Pool)
Eastern Market/Barracks Row/SE Residential Run, 4.1 miles
Route: Independence Ave eastbound, bear R on Pennsylvania Ave SE, R 8th St SE, L I St SE, L 11th St SE, L E Capitol St across from Lincoln Park, return around north side of Capitol.
· Saturday, May 16 (7:30 AM from Marine Corps War Memorial/Arlington)
Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Trail out and back for distance of your choice
Route: take N Meade St/N Lynn St over Key Bridge, R - through Francis Scott Key Park, R – onto C&O Canal TowPath.
Note: this trail runs parallel to the paved Capital Crescent Trail until Fletcher’s Boathouse.
