I think I'm a little green to these games, but my bases keep getting
discovered over and over. Got ant tips for that as well as any
strategy tps?

Keep your bases well-supplied during construction, for maximum use of
the grace period. Spread your bases around; if a base was just
discovered on a continent, any other bases on that continent are at
risk. A small number of high-quality bases are much better than a large
number of small bases.

Waht do you mean by well supplied?

Don't run out of money/CPU while constructing a base.

What about which bases are preferable?

Bigger is better. Moon bases are a good choice for money-making in the
end-game.

Well... I don't want to spoil anything, so perhaps you shouldn't look
at these...

http://gargoyle.ath.cx/~aes/singularity/

(The extraction tool uses graphviz, and wants to be able to "import g
from code", so it needs to be run from the directory that has code/
and data/ in it.)

Oh, also, evilmrhenry: the effect that other bases on the same
continent are at greater risk isn't noticable..

Those look pretty good, aes. Can we use your code?

You're joking right? Yes. Sorry the code is a bit naff.

Hey, it's a starting point. It's always easier to adapt than to create anew.

aes -

I've got you listed in the copyright notice just as "aes" right now,
let me know if you want to be credited differently.

Try Public Domain. (I feel very much like it fails to qualify as a "work".)

Eh, I'll leave it as-is. My contributions are copyright/GPL, so
technically I could just drop you from the notice now that the
original is PD, but that feels wrong. Unlike the day/night patch,
most of this one stayed. And it would have taken a *lot* longer for
me to put together a .dot writer, even assuming I'd had the idea to
use graphviz.
