Hi I really like your game but I would love to access the cheat menu.
I JUST got linux (ubuntu) and can't figure out how to compile the g.py
file into ... whatever you know what i mean what do I need to do or is
there a pre mage file?

Just run ES with the -cheater option.

Python doesn't need compiling, anyway, as it's a scripted language.

You need to run it by hand. Open up a command line or press Alt+F2 and type:
singularity -cheater

You can adjust the link in your menus to do that automatically, but
that requires knowing how. At least on Gentoo+Gnome, it's
non-trivial, because you can't just right-click the link and change
it, you have to open up the menu editor.

well, i dont know if i'm doing it wrong. I use Alt+F2, and the window
pops up. i type in "singularity<space>-cheater" and the icon for
singularity is in the little box. i hit enter, and it enters the game
like normal. i see no cheat options or notice a difference in the
game or anything. should i?

Yeah, that's right. Once you get into a game, press ` (backtick, same
key as ~, but without shift) to bring up the cheat menu.

Did you try --cheater? I *think* the main download still has -cheater,
(I haven't actually checked) but --cheater would be the standard syntax.

If that doesn't work, let me know where you got the game from (website,
distro, etc) and I'll get you a better answer.
