Hay im pretty new to ubuntu and i downloaded singularity i have been
playing for a while now and i searched for the cheats but here is what
happens:

i hit alt-F2 and type in "singularity -cheater"
and hit enter nothing happens or opens
so i do it again i.e. type in "singularity -cheater"
and this time i run in terminal
now a error comes up when i run "singularity -cheater"
in the terminal it says: "singularity no option -c ect.. ect.."
so it will open if i type singularity but not if i put -cheater after
it

any help with this or on how to enable the cheat menu??
would be great full if you could email it to me

2009/12/12 Cysic Systems <cysics...@googlemail.com>:
The option needs two dashes, as in "singularity --cheater".
Unfortunately some command-line tools use single dashes and others use
double dashes (and a few use none, e.g. tar). Which is which is an
unfortunate matter of UNIX tradition. You can usually find out by
running something like "singularity -h", but unfortunately --cheater
is not listed (by design).

According to standard behaviour, single-character options use single
dashes, longer options use two. Thus, -abcdefg enables options a, b,
c, d, e, f, and g, but --abcdefg enables a single option named
"abcdefg".
