Changing cpu from millions ect to mega htz ect

Be that i mean that i have removed all the old techs, bases,
items .... and replaced them with my own.
The game has a different story line.
Anyway if anyone wants i can post the current version of the game i am
making with endgame singularity as a template.
The one thing that would make my version of the game much better would
not be having the cpu and money numbers linked.
I have checked the code files and added a few more numbers after
Quaddrillion but i accually need to change the cpu so that it displays
Kilo HTz at first and then when it goes above 1000 it becomes Mega HTz
and so on.
Deos anyone know how a can do this...
Also as a side note is there a way i can make the game start of with
just one location instead of 6 and you can slowely unlock more as you
research technology?
With my game i am not accually having the world map at first i am
having it from inside a university with different rooms. So is there a
way i can get to the point of once i leave the university the veiw
changed to world map.
Sorry i am making quite a big project for myself but i am happy to
release it. I just doubt that anyone here would accually like the
version i am working on because its a very windows history game where
you are installing better and better operating sstems on computers....
Just don't worry about what the game itself is because its sorta
confusing.
I woudl appreciate any help from my questions :)

for some of your questions. I don't know python so I can't really
help. I would like to help alpha/beta test your game if you want
though.

I got way too bored and since i never found out how to change this i
sorta gave up.
If you really want to you can try it out but its very unoptimised and
really all your doing is buying different types of comptuers and
trying to get the best windows operating systems... Its based on real
world operating systems exactly but only windows... So unless your a
big fan of windows i doubt you would enjoy this.
Bassically you slowely unlock beta and alpha builds by researching
them and if you fully research the full version/servace pack version
of an operating system you can reseach a bonus. Such as multiboot
computers of laptops...
but i have not changed anycode in the game i only changed the research
and items(comptuers)
Also its english only.
and i have only programmed from windows 1.01-Windows 95 so its very
uncomplete

actually. I'm not a windows fanboy, but I can see your research being
useful to other mods.

is really easy for me to upload but i am not sure how fast your
internet is and if you can download it.
I could send it in an email to you and compress it into a rar... If
you know how to uncompress rar that would be good.
Btw remeber that "bases" such as datawarehouse are now "computers" and
"items" such as the supercomputer are now "operating systems"
Oh and when you start of you have no computer of your own you only
have the university computer which any student found using will be
killed "a little dramatic" but yea lol
so you got to first reasearch a desktop computer to put in your room
which is kinda dangerous since if the university does a roomcheck
(they don't allow computers in the university) they will destroy it,,,
so reaseaching laptop computers is good since it can be hidden better
in your room. Also the better the operating system the more cpu you
get. And with multboot technologys you can install more then one OS
per computer meaning you could have like 10 windows 95's on 1
cvomputer meaning 10x the cpu.
Also you may not reconise the first OS's but the game descripes when
they were released and stuff like that but its not very desciptive...

The Goal is to get windows 95 installed on a computer but i have not
accually set that a a goal since it is very incomplete..

I don't want to start any loud debates, but it strikes me that physical
currency allows purchase of the Windows operating system, and it would
be difficult to "research" it, bar Bill Gates being an android the
entire time... or something.
Meanwhile, in the Linux/BSDs, early open source era, that would be
nothing but CPU cycles and/or game time to crunch programs, send
patches, and generally be a nice contributer.
Then the whole world would move forward, faster than schedule with their
open source systems, etc, and so on.
Of course, network protocols could also be researched I guess. It would
be amusing if the singularity invented cloud computing, considering its
already distributed framework.

Ok i have zipped it using windows 7 so you just got to unextract then
run the normal way
Remeber you need to use windows to accually run the game since it is
an exe.
Also the game is very uncomplete and since i can't code in python well
its very unrealistic...
e.g. your university that you live in is the whole world... so its
kinda in need of coding help.

me to contiune my mini project by adding the later windows operating
systems (remeber these have many more buillds and will be more
ocmplecated... such as proffesional home premium...
Anyway i will only continue if i get people here who accaully want it
done. I may add mac and linux (linux are free) and mac (more
expensive) and have all those builds but i am wondering if it is worth
it or not...
But the biggest tihng stopping me is the coding. I can't code i can
only add the data not change code..
If you dont know what i mean by that it means i can only add more
operating systems and bases but i can not change the way the game
looks and runs.
I really want to do a zoom out thing where you start in the university
and your in your room and you start hidding them in different places
in the room and when room checks come around the different places
(such as under bed or in wardrobe or inside matress (laptop only) they
all have different detection rates.
And it should eventually zoom out to world veiw then planet veiw.
Basically one of the "reseaches" will be paying the university fees
which unlocks the ability to zoom out to world veiw.
Still my ideas are not 100% strait and i really need to work it out as
i got but since i can't... well my project will be dead.
Its really up to you guys if you like it or not so please downlaod it
and try it.
And remeber the cpu and prices of the os's have not been optimised
