How do we change the key?

Is it an encryption key, which name is saved in the epd file? Could you please elaborate more on what you tried to do to change the key?

I was referring to "Persistent key location in the encrypted file" checkbox. See the image at the link below. When the checkbox is enabled, path to the key is saved in the epd file. Next time you open that epd file, it will use the key you specified before saving the file. It will only work with epd format. gpg extension does not support this feature.
