One of the fun things about teaching Spanish is sharing the music and culture from Spanish-speaking countries. You can use music and dance as brain breaks, rewards, or a special end-of-the-week ritual, as in baile viernes.

Shocker it involves Disney magic! I love to dance and so do both of my children. Zumba is one of the things I miss about being able to go to the gym. Fortunately, YouTube exists and plenty of instructors have shared their routines. But if you're familiar with Zumba, not all the music or moves are what you would call family friendly.

(Yep, you can work out with the Columbian dance legend, no trip to Florida required.) There are multiple videos on Amazon led by Pérez, including additional 30- and 60-minute classes and shorter sessions targeting specific areas of the body.

Imagine attending a 70-minute live concert starring Beto Pérez, where he teaches you 16 routines featuring the music and dance styles of countries from all over the world. Sounds like a blast, no? With all of the excitement and energy of the concert, you won't even feel those obliques working. (Well, not until tomorrow.)
