sphinx-apidoc tips?

Anyone have good tips for using sphinx-apidoc to quickstart API documentation for an existing (large) project? It is able to crawl and find all *.py files, but it ignores *.enaml files. I could add these manually, but am hoping for an easy shortcut if one exists.
