to Enable Artisan
Enable Artisan has an inspiring event that has taken place. I have
been constantly approaching people for help and the cause has touched
a little girl so much that she took the initiative to make all the
children in her school aware of the fact and this is the result.

Tanvi Joshi , a student of Dutch Neck School has initiated a fund
raiser for Enable Artisan at her school.
Her theme was 'pick a chore, earn a dollar and donate'. It is a small
school from KG to 3rd grade and many were kind enough or moved by the
cause to come forward and make a donation. Tanvi managed to raise $187
and has requested the school principal to write out a check from the
school to your account. “It is not a huge total but it has been a
great learning experience for her and boosted her confidence in
organising an effort.” Says her mother Bhavana Joshi, who also helped
us immensely by designing a website for Enable Artisan, however the
spirit with which Tanvi has carried this forward was worth
appreciating and the entire process deserves a huge round of applause.

The best part is yet to come…. she hasn't given up yet she is reaching
out to her contacts and trying to collect some more. This keeps not
only her spirits but also the fire in us burn with joy and pride for
starting this initiative.

”I was really moved by the effort and support of her teacher and the
school principal. When I thanked them the other day they said that
they believe in encouraging ideas and encouraging their students.”
Were her mother’s words, we could not help thanking Mr. Scott Feder
(the Principal) and Mrs. Regina Honore (Tanvi’s teacher) for their
unrelenting support and encouragement extended to Tanvi and for
allowing her to have a fund raiser at the Dutch Neck School.
