CITY OF OLYMPIA NEIGHBORHOOD WOOD-CHIPPING EVENTS - 2011
The City of Olympia is accepting reservations for free two-hour neighborhood wood-chipping events in 2011. Residents can turn woody debris into valuable chips for landscaping, mulching and composting. The chipping program is part of the City’s efforts to reduce waste and help the environment.
Chipping events are open to groups of four or more single-family households that are City of Olympia garbage customers. Events are limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
