7-8-11 La entrevista - The interview

Mira, yo estoy llamando a la puerta; si alguien oye mi voz y abre la
puerta, entraré en su casa y cenaremos juntos. (Apocalípsis 3:20, DHH)

Las otras noches soñé que me encontraba en camino a una entrevista de
empleo. En el sueño no lograba conseguir el lugar indicado para la
entrevista y yo corría y corría tocando cuanta puerta me encontraba.
Es curioso que en el mundo secular, nosotros tenemos que tocar muchas
puertas para recibir oportunidades de empleo. Sin embargo, en el
plano espiritual es Cristo mismo quien toca a la puerta y llama. Él
viene en busca de nosotros, toca a la puerta y llama. El Maestro
viene con tremenda oportunidad; viene con una promesa de entrar y
sentarse a cenar con nosotros; viene además con una oferta de
trabajo. Él dice que la mies es mucha y los obreros pocos, así que
con Él tendremos trabajo garantizado, con los mejores beneficios, el
mejor plan de salud, provisión de todas nuestras necesidades y con un
plan de retiro que va mucho más allá de lo que nos puedan ofrecer en
este mundo. ¿Qué les parece? Yo digo como el himnólogo Isaiah
Baltzell (1832 - 1893),
“Anhelo trabajar por el Señor,
Confiando en Su Palabra y en Su amor,
Quiero yo cantar y orar, y ocupado siempre estar
En la viña del Señor.

“Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and
opens the door, I will come in to him and have dinner with him, and he
with Me.” (Rev. 3: 20)

The other night I dreamt that I was on my way to a job interview. In
the dream I was having a very difficult time finding the place for the
interview. I ran and ran, and I knocked on every door I found. It
seems interesting to me that in the secular world, we are the ones
that have to knock on doors in order to get an opportunity. However,
in the spiritual realm it is Christ Himself who knocks on the door and
calls. He comes looking for us, and the Master comes with tremendous
opportunities. He comes with a promise to enter and sit down to
dinner with us. He also comes with a job offer. He says that the
harvest is ready and plentiful, yet the laborers are few. So, when we
open that door we will have work guaranteed for the rest of our lives,
with the best benefits, the best plan health, provision of all our
needs, and a retirement plan that is out of this world! What do you
