to En Su Presencia
(Santiago 1: 19) En tu lugar, yo me volvería
cruzados y no decir nada? ¡No!
No, no, no pasará.”

“Be angry and do not sin. Don't let the sun go down on your anger…
(Ephesians 4: 26). My dearly loved brothers, understand this:
everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger…
(James 1:19) However, if I were you, I would appeal to God and would
present my case to Him. He does great and unsearchable things, wonders
without number. He gives rain to the earth and sends water to the
fields. He sets the lowly on high, and mourners are lifted to safety.
He frustrates the schemes of the crafty so that they achieve no
success. He traps the wise in their craftiness so that the plans of
the deceptive are quickly brought to an end. They encounter darkness
by day, and they grope at noon as if it were night. He saves the needy
from their sharp words and from the clutches of the powerful. So the
poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.” (Job 5: 8-16)
Is there any time that a Christian is allowed to express anger? I
understand fully that as followers of Christ we must be patient and
slow to anger, we need to be wise and prudent; we need to love our
enemies, and be peacemakers, however, what happens when we are forced
to deal with people who openly worship and follow satanic practices,
people who lie and cheat, and are agents of misery? Are we supposed
to remain quiet, cross our arms, and not say anything? No! When we
are face to face with injustice and immorality, with satanic practices
and everything it entails, we cannot allow satan to stomp on us,
thinking that he can get away with it. We are children of the Living
God, we walk in His light, and we know that no weapon forged against
us shall prevail. When that conniving enemy comes around with his
tricks and traps trying to rob of us of our peace, we MUST hold up a
“big ole STOP” sign and say with authority, “This is as far as you
go!!! Depart from me!!! This is God’s territory, He is THE Sovereign
Lord, Creator of the Universe, King of kings and Lord of lords, He is
the Mighty One in battle, He is the King of Glory!!!”
Then, we need to forgive that person who has caused such pain. Thus
we can begin the healing process. We cannot allow for that experience
to become a root of bitterness that will contaminate us with feelings
of negativity, doubt, and guilt. As the psalmist said, “God is our
refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of
trouble. Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles
and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, though its
waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with its turmoil… The
LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. (Psalm
46: 1-3, 11)
