4-19-11 Limpieza de casa - House Cleaning

“Y entrando en el templo, comenzó a echar fuera a los que vendían,
diciéndoles: Escrito está: "Y MI CASA SERÁ CASA DE ORACIÓN", pero
vosotros la habéis hecho CUEVA DE LADRONES. (Lucas :45-46)

Si usted necesita una buena "limpieza de casa", asegúrese de llamar al
Maestro. Él señalará las áreas que necesitan enderezarse, y nos
mostrará cómo mantenerlo todo limpiecito. No estoy hablando de
edificios físicos, sino de nuestros cuerpos, que son el templo del
Espíritu Santo, y tenemos que mantenerlos limpios y ordenados. No hay
lugar para falsas doctrinas, ni textos usados fuera de contexto para
llenar cualquier pretexto, ni teologías fantasiosas o escapistas, ni
filosofías seculares humanistas y materialistas levemente disfrazadas
de pensamiento cristiano contemporáneo. ¡Amados, hemos convertido la
casa de Dios en cuevas de ladrones! Jesús lo dijo claramente que su
casa será casa de oración. Reconociendo que sólo le quedaba una
semana de ministración antes de la crucifixión, ¿qué hizo el Señor?
Limpió Su casa. Me parece que nosotros deberíamos hacer lo mismo.
Saquemos tiempo para "limpiar la casa" esta semana. Tomemos en cuenta
nuestras creencias, dones, ministerio y lo que representamos en esta
tierra, asegurémonos que todo se alinea con las enseñanzas de Cristo,
y aún más, que nuestra casa sea una casa de oración.

He went into the temple complex and began to throw out those who were
selling, and He said, "It is written, My house will be a house of
prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves!" (Luke :45-46)

When you need a good “house cleaning”, be sure to call on Jesus. He
will point out the areas that need straightening up, and tell you how
to keep it clean. I am not just talking about our physical abode, our
bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we need to keep it clean
and tidy. No room for false doctrines, or twisted Scriptures; no need
to engage in flights of fancy, escapist theologies, nor materialist
secular humanistic philosophies subtly masked as contemporary
Christian thought. Folks, we have turned God’s house into dens of
thieves!!! Jesus said it clearly His house will be a house of
prayer. On His last week on earth before the crucifixion, what did He
do? He cleaned house. It seems to me that we should do the same.
Take some time to “clean house” this week. Take stock of what we
believe, our gifts, our ministry, and what we represent here on earth;
make sure that it lines up with Jesus’ teachings; most importantly let
our house be a house of prayer.
