Carpe diem??

Pero yo cantaré de tu poder; sí, gozoso cantaré por la mañana Tu
misericordia; porque Tú has sido mi baluarte, y un refugio en el día
de mi angustia. (Salmos 59:16) Será también el SEÑOR baluarte para el
oprimido, baluarte en tiempos de angustia. (Salmo 9: 9) Por eso, que
todo santo ore a Ti en el tiempo en que puedas ser hallado;
ciertamente, en la inundación de muchas aguas, no llegarán éstas a él.
(Salmos 32:6) En Dios descansan mi salvación y mi gloria; la roca de
mi fortaleza, mi refugio, está en Dios. Confiad en El en todo tiempo,
oh pueblo; derramad vuestro corazón delante de El; Dios es nuestro
refugio. (Salmos 62:7-8)

Carpe diem es una frase que se usa frecuentemente para expresar el
vivir en el momento. Es atesorar y agarrarse de toda energía positiva
para poder enfrentarse a la vida con una actitud mejorada. Hay muchas
maneras de interpretar esta frase pero la esencia de ella es que en la
vida hay que buscar lo positivo en todo si no, perderemos la
perspectiva y podríamos hundirnos en el mar de las circunstancias y la
depresión.

Amados, todo lo que se encuentra arriba viene de las teorías de Nueva
Era y positivismo que se escuchan por todos lados hoy día. A veces se
disfraza y se infiltra esta manera de pensar entre los creyentes y
puede ser muy peligroso para el que no está propiamente fundamentado
en la Palabra. Nosotros no nos dejamos llevar por el momento, sino
que reconocemos la presencia y soberanía de Dios en nuestras vidas.
Le pertenecemos a Él y en el momento de la prueba, en la crisis, en la
tentación, en el sufrimiento y en el dolor, nos agarramos de Su mano.
Asi pues, nosotros no diremos “Carpe Diem”, nosotros declaramos “Carpe
DEO” [Agarrate del Señor]!!!

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your
love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. (Psalm

of trouble. (Psalm 9: 9) Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to
You while You may be found; surely when the mighty waters rise, they

God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O
people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. (Psalm
62:7-8)

Carpe diem is a phrase often used to express “living in the moment”.
It is to cherish and hold on to positive energy and face life with a
better attitude. There are many ways to interpret this phrase, but the
essence of it is that in life you have to find the positive in
everything, otherwise we are prone to lose perspective, and could sink
into the sea of circumstances and depression.

Beloved, everything mentioned above comes from the New Age theories
and positivism that can be heard everywhere today. These false
doctrines can be very dangerous for the new believers who are not yet
adequately grounded in the Word. We do not just live for the moment,
we recognize the presence and sovereignty of God in our lives. We
belong to Him and know that in the times of trials and tribulations,
in the crisis, or temptation, in suffering, or sorrow, we cling to His
Might and Powerful hand. Therefore, we will not say "Carpe Diem",
rather we declare "Carpe DEO" [Hold on to God]!
