Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Although, Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer are very good friends they
are still two completely different people. Huckleberry fin is just a
young boy who did not have much parenting in his life. He was a very
intelligent young man, but unfortunately he was forced to survive on
his own and always had to take for himself. Huck was not a very
outgoing kid but he was very quick to learn from others. I think the
last paragraph on page 109 sums up what kind of lifestyle Huckleberry
really lives. In the middle of the paragraph Miss Watson states,
“Don’t put your feet up there, Huckleberry; and don’t scrunch up like
that, Huckleberry-set up straight.” Miss Watson also later states in
the next line, “ Don’t gap and stretch like that, Huckleberry- why
don’t you try to behave”, and she then proceeds to tell huckleberry
about a terrible place and she wished that he were there.
Tom Sawyer is Huckleberry Finns best friend but unfortunately he is
not a real person. Unfortunately, for Huck, Tom is everything he is
not. Tom is a very nice person who has a family, and lives in a very
nice house. Since Tom lives with a family he has to follow certain
rules, and Huckleberry does not have any rules. Huckleberry fin is a
very bad example for Tom and seems to always be getting him into
trouble.
