Hello Dimitri, and many thanks for your work on emutrix. I've
installed right now emutrix (svn version,because it's on a laptop and
I can't disable onboard card). It work fine , but I've tested only
master volume because my microdock was killed by inserting a LAN cable
from a working router :-( , I'm trying to see if there is some way
to reanimate it...
Anyway again many thanks, if I will have microdock on work again ,
I'll tell you more about emutrix on a pcmcia card.

Hello Fritz,
well, I hope you fix that problem. I don't know if PCMCIA cards work with emutrix. They should, in principle, but I don't own one and haven't gotten much feedback from people who do.

Hi, I'm happy to tell you that my 1616 Pcmcia has returned to full
life, and for which I've tried to test, Emutrix has full control over
the matrix ( for analog ins and outs, I can't test if adat works also
because I haven't the right hardware to test it. Also the mute
pad ,and master volume works fine.
If you had specific request about tests that I can make on the card,
feel free to answer. I'm using the SVN version because I use emutrix
on a laptop that has a onboard soundcard, according to what you
recommend.

Hello guys,

I'm another happy owner of the 1616m cardbus soundcard.

I wish I could monitor my guitar (dock input A) but I can't do anything actually. I guess I have to route "Dock Mic A" to one of the "ALSA Capture" output, right? (I'm a total newbie with Linux ALSA etc).

I've run the latest svn emutrix version (v92), but the matrix stays muted (first row is full of red checked boxes) and I can't toggle any button of the matrix.

What's wrong with my install? Do you have any idea?

If you run emutrix from the terminal (console), do you get any errors or warnings?
Can you switch the values of the items labeled 'DSP 0' .. 'DSP 15' using alsamixer?

I have many "No routing callback" lines in the console actually.

Have you tried changing the values of e.g. "DSP 10 Capture" enum using
alsamixer?
(run alsamixer, switch to capture using F4 or Tab, find DSP10, change
the value using the arrow keys)

Is there a 'Dock Mic A' value?

Also, what do you mean by 'can't toggle'? They are not toggle buttons.
What happens if you click on a random button on the matrix? Does
emutrix crash or just no sound? Note that you don't have to 'unmute',
just select another button in a column. (That is because you can't mix
with the app, just route)
