Iuninstalled the driver in device manager, restarted my laptop, and everything worked fine untill a few minutes later. File explorer, cmd and control panel worked fine, but all apps and the windows 11 settings panel kept freezing.

With the -arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html , I installed the 31.0.101.4887, which works fine. It also installed ARC. I put the wifi on, opened ARC, ARC updated to 31.0.101.4952 express. Than after a few restarts, everything started to freeze again after around 30 seconds after startup.

When an app is frozen, it crashed when u press something in it. Sometimes it responds to closing, and sometimes it does not. When it it closed, It does not open when I try to start the application again.

I found out that after I installed a version like 31.0.101.4887 in safe mode (not sure if it installed, the installed said succesful), restarted to normal mode, my screen starts blinking cause windows comes with an update called "Intel Corporation - Display - 30.0.101.1298". Than after restart, everything works fine. Than windows comes with another update called "Intel Corporation - Extension - 31.0.101.4255". I restarted and no other updates came and everything worked. After a few hours it broke again.

The good next step would be to take note of the date/time of the next freeze, and then look in the Windows Event Viewer System, and Application logs for related events.

I've been wondering since I installed Windows 10 how to install the drivers (right now, 22.4.0.1; -Gigabit-CT-Desktop-Adapter here) for Intel Gigabit CT Desktop adapter? I've tried several other versions, but all just say: "Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer." I think this would install just fine with Windows 7, but not in Windows 10. Anyway, screenshot attached below.

Thank you so much for the explanation. Now it's clear as a blue sky! I just hope that it will get driver updates if issues arrise, sometime, somehow. I have another question, though. What other internal NICs from Intel can be bought that has "full support drivers" (not only "in box support" if I would want/need one? I feel that it's a messy field, hardware-wise. I don't know much about it, unlike hardware like motherboards, CPUs, GPUs, etc. I bought this gigabit CT Desktop NIC because it said in a product specification that it would be supported until Q1'19 so I thought "hey, sounds good" and got it. But if I would want one that is supported with full set of drivers and software, which one should I get instead - if you know?

I went through every windows 10 .inf in the ProSet and can confirm this card isn't there & that's why the .exe throws the error. The Microsoft provided driver falls short in that many features are unavailable, such as Wake on Lan and others. Inexcusable. Intel spend 5 minutes and push out a WIn 10 driver for this card!!! But I think I'm returning this card and going with a Startech card which has proper windows 10 drivers.

Yes, that's how I feel too - well put. The control panel or UI for the drivers is messy compared to what it would be with the PROSet setup. The later one is what I'm used to and find it convenient. Would it be possible to get PROSet going in Windows 10? Maybe there is a possibility to mod the "drivers" (or PROSet, that is). I don't think it would take too much effort on Intel's part to restore this functionality, but I could be wrong. Overall, the "support" for Windows 10 feels rushed.

EDIT: If you get the Startech card you mentioned maybe you can send me a (private) message on this forum what you think about it? I'd be interested to hear a little review - if you don't mind.

This driver installer extracted itself into a temp folder, the installer.exe will show user a loading screen and quiet install old .Net Desktop 7.0.7 with unnecessary ASP.net pack. Then it extracts one more installer.exe into temp folder, it shows an error "not found .net core 7.0.0 ..." if I let it download the Dotnet installer, it will reinstall what I already installed "windowsdesktop-runtime-7.0.15-win-x64"...

We can see the Intel Arc Control installer in "Resources\Extras" folder, if you run it, look like it's an installer power by WiX Toolset, dependency walker shows it doesn't need any Dotnet DLL. I've checked arc control's executables, they are all normal executable, don't require Dotnet at all.

Now let's take a look at "GfxDownloadWrapper.exe" and "OneApp.IGCC.WinService.exe" in "Graphics_101.5234" folder, they are Dotnet executables, but if you open them in HxD and search "NETFramework,Version=v4.7", you'll see they only require the stock .net framework on Windows.

The UWP app being installed by the driver package name is "AppUp.IntelGraphicsExperience", but I don't think Windows Desktop Runtime or Dotnet 7.0 runtime is needed there, UWP app using a different Dotnet distribution.

So why on earth your installer team need to use a non-stock version of Dotnet (and it's not even the latest, Dotnet 7 is in maintenance mode now) only for this driver install process? Is it really better than "good old" NSIS/Inno/WiX ?

I appreciate your flexibility while we look into this. Please note that we are still working on the graphics installer. However, I would really appreciate it if you could give us some more time, as we need to check and replicate the issue further. We believe this will help us find a more accurate and comprehensive solution for you.

Thank you for patiently waiting. I have some news regarding your inquiry. Upon coordinating with our team, we want to let you know that Installing .net file is normal behavior. It is necessary to install .net and it's primary role is to kickstart the graphics installer.

I recently add the AX200 Desktop Set to my PC build. Wifi works fine, but windows device manager can't find bluetooth device. I've tried some suggestions in the forums like checking & installing the driver, restarting bluetooth services, and finally checking the M.2 Key E Slot in my motherboard. Strangely, when I tried to boot from Linux Ubuntu LTS 20.04 FF, it detected all the capabilities of the network card, both BT and WIFI.

Have you found any solve to this issue for people who are having the issue persist through tons of wipes>restarts>installs>restarts? Personally I dont use the wifi or bluetooth other than for printing, I'm hard wired otherwise and recently went to print something today and notice both my bluetooth and wifi adapters gone. Looked for them in dev manager, both also gone. Did your solution a ton of times to no avail. Updated bios, tried again, nothing. For reference I'm using an Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero Wifi, and normally my bluetooth/wifi adapters are disabled, but I can always see them and they're greyed out on my adapters page. I noticed they were just gone today and started troubleshooting and nothing has worked yet. I also did a network reset when all else failed, to try and get it to reinstall all the network adapters but that didnt work either. Anything else you got we can try? Would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I unplugged my LAN connection and made sure windows displayed "no connection" on the taskbar. The WiFi on the AX200 works (it can find networks in search), but I didn't connect it to any network ever. Especially since windows informs me that I have no internet connection whenever I unplug the LAN cable.

If you're sure that you are staying disconnected, then keep uninstalling the drivers and rebooting until the drivers are gone. Remember that this is Wireless and BT both. In the BT case, the Intel driver is gone when you either don't see the device or you see the device listed generically with a Microsoft BT driver (I have modified my instructions above to make this clear). If this never happens (translation: you've done the uninstall/reboot, say, 10 times), then something is broken in your installation (most likely bad installer/uninstaller from Intel). You could try using Microsoft's troubleshooter (see this article for more information) or try one of the third-party driver driver removal products (I don't have a specific recommendation (I personally have never had to use one), but this article provides some recommendations).

If the Intel BT device is just not showing up, there may be a physical problem with your adapter (this is not the only discussion of modules whose Wireless is working fine but BT not at all). It may, however, be a problem with your motherboard's BIOS, so check for BIOS updates.

I have tried the above solution repeatedly and BT simply does not appear in Device Manager. I've uninstalled the devices and all existing drivers then installed the latest Intel drivers (22.80.1 64-bit) for both WiFi and BT. Device Manger shows the WiFi with the correct Intel driver, but no BT at all.
