This is a periodic message sent by the Utah Emulab system describing
the charter for this forum. Please abide by all of the guidelines set
forth below. Note that this charter may change from time to time, so
please read through it carefully.

Please observe good forum etiquette:

* Do not cross-post your message to multiple forums.
* Search to see if your question/topic has been discussed previously.
* Do not send abusive messages or spam.

The emulab-users forum is for discussing the general use of the Emulab
testbed platform.

Please DO NOT use this forum for:

* Asking questions about general computer systems.
- E.g.: How do I install missing software?
- Use your local resources (e.g. advisors) or search the web.
* Questions specific to ProtoGENI.
- Use the protogeni-users forum instead.
- http://groups.google.com/group/protogeni-users
* Questions about administering an Emulab installation.
- Use the emulab-admins forum for these.
- http://groups.google.com/group/emulab-admins
* Reporting problems related to a specific Emulab site.
- E.g.: Hardware failures; Issues with a site-provided OS image.
- Please send these to the operations email address for the
site in question. For the Utah Emulab testbed, this address
is: testb...@flux.utah.edu.

When asking questions:

* Check the emulab-users forum archives.
- Your question may have already been asked and answered.
- http://groups.google.com/group/emulab-users
* Search Emulab's online documentation.
- Answers to many questions can be found there.
- https://users.emulab.net/trac/emulab/wiki
* Be very specific.
- Err on the side of providing too much information.
- Describe your experimental setup in detail.
- Include your ns file.
- Include experiment setup logs.

Thank you, and Happy Experimenting!
