I noticed that pc306  has:

node1> less /proc/cpuinfo
processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 63
model name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz
stepping : 2
microcode : 0x49
cpu MHz : 1200.000
cache size : 20480 KB

while  pc290 is:

node0> less /proc/cpuinfo
processor       : 0
vendor_id       : GenuineIntel
cpu family      : 15
model           : 4
model name      : Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz
stepping        : 1
microcode       : 0x17
cpu MHz         : 2992.810
cache size      : 1024 KB

I was hoping I would have two PC3000s with Intel Xeon 3.00GHz CPUs to repeat a test I had done a long time ago.

Hi. Given that these machines were installed in 2005, it is a miracle that
they are still running. :-)

Might be that pc290 died at some point, and the wrong CPU was installed.

Yes, amazing that they are still working, and often doing useful work...  Kudos to emulab for maximizing useful life of these machines, reducing eWaste, and all.
