Emulab with ONL switches?

Has anyone looked into adapting an Open Network Linux-based switch to work as an experimental switch with Emulab? Would anyone be interested in such a thing? We have a few Edge-Core switches which support ONL and have just started thinking about what it would take to get them to work with Emulab.

The details would no doubt vary with the particular switch, but hopefully they could be kept within, e.g., the implementation of individual MIBs, so the interface with Emulab would be standard. Anyway, we'd love to hear from anyone who is or has worked on this, or something similar to it. Thanks!
