2) What version of Android are you running?
3) Is your device rooted?

VGBA will not run on rooted devices with piracy tools installed.
Should run on "clean" rooted devices that are not also running any
pirate stuff.

Right. Starting with the last update, VGBA will not run on rooted
devices with piracy tools installed. It will run on "clean" rooted
devices that have no pirate stuff installed.
