Hello, I would like to know when an update of the great emulator for
symbian speccy. It also asked whether there was any way to get pokes
at the games. thanks

I will receive the new, updated version via email, as soon as it
becomes available. You have the latest version right now. There is no
newer version you can update to.

To find such information, you can use Google. In your browser address
line, enter www.google.com and press ENTER. When you see Google search
page, type "Spectrum pokes" into the search line and press ENTER.

Finding the pokes for the games I was not referring spectrum. I wanted
to say if you can get the pokes from the same emulator Speccy 1.6 for
Symbian gaming spectrum.

1. Make a .POK file (format of the .POK file can be found with Google)
2. Press right softkey on the phone, select Load File, and load .POK
file.
3. Press right softkey on the phone, select Manage Cheats, and enable/
disable POKEs.

I can not find files. Pok on google if you could give me some web with
those files would appreciate it. We also would like to know if in a
future update would have the opportunity to put on the menu tab for a
speccy introduce pokes directly when this game already loaded. Another
incidence of speccy for example, the Commandos game graphics are
distorted and other games such as Black Sun is impossible to play from
the very Speccy controls not accept me and impossible to configure
months from the emulator. Thank you

Probably not, although I may include this into the debugger and
enable debugger in the Symbian version.

Well, it is no secret that a few games have problems on Speccy.
Not many though.

To configure joystick type, press right softkey and choose Input
Devices
from the configuratin menu. To reassign keys, press the green button,
select the Input tab, and reassign keys there.

Having said that, you should not expect full Spectrum keyboard
functionality from a phone that only has a dialpad.

Podraia was put as the virtual keyboard and "disappeared" from the
legendary 48k spectrum, I mean the gums. Another question is whether
you can record videos of games to play in the speccy and thus able to
expose them on web sites dedicated to it?

It should be possible with the Speccy-Windows version and some third-
party
Windows program that records screen activity. Speccy-Windows is free
and
can be obtained at

To find video recording program, you will have to use Google
(www.google.com).

Sorry if I do not understand. I am Spanish and my English is just
basic. Certainly a question that is beside the point on the speccy,
has in mind creating some emulator for the Commodore friend for
symbian? If it were so serious in the first desenbolsar the euro as
necessary (provided it is not too bright) A greeting

PS: If this is not the speccy and tested for Windows Vista, the Speccy
is compatible with Windows Vista?

Yes, both Speccy-Symbian and fMSX-Symbian use the same virtual
keyboard.
It is invoked with the [8] key or the [EDIT] key and should work in
both emulators.

No, I am not planning a Commodore Amiga emulator.

No: they would take valuable screen estate. A lot of people still
have phones with small screen resolutions.

Please, for when the update of the Symbian Speccy? I am very
interested in this fantastic emulator. With some improvements but we
are talking about the best emulator for spectrum created for symbian.

moment.
When I do update Speccy though, you will get a new copy by email
automatically and there will be an announcement in this group.
