Cheats not working

Hello, I downloaded the file for the cheats and used it in the VGBAnext. I still dont have a cheat menu and cannot use cheats. Any tips?

Yo, redownloaded on a new phone and when I try to open the folder with vgba it does..... Nothing, not a pop up not an error it just clicks it and nothing changes.
