Problems transferring saves

I'm trying to transfer some of my games between emulators. When I
transferred them onto my computer, the emulators on there where able
to read the saves from games I made on my phone. But I haven't found a
way to do it with VGBA. I'd rather not start over some of my games.
Any ideas? I was using the in-game save features so the files are SAV
files. And I was using Gameboid before hand.

VGBA save files start with a 16-byte header that tells VGBA what kind
of save it is (64kB FlashROM, 128kB FlashROM, 64-byte EEPROM, 1kB
EEPROM, etc.). You may be able to use them by removing this header.

I can't locate my save files and when i try to use one from the
internet it wont load in game. Where am i supposed to put the save
files at on my android?

Save files have .sav extension and sit in the same directory where
corresponding .gba files are. Please, read my previous post in this
thread, about format compatibility.
